Christian Eiroa and Robert Caldwell teamed up in 2012 to create a cigar inspired by Miami’s Wynwood district, a haven for South Florida’s art lovers. While Caldwell left the venture to get the ball rolling on what would become his popular Caldwell brand, Eiroa retained the Wynwood name and set out to revamp the entire line under his C.L.E. Cigar Company banner. After several years of development Eiroa has unveiled the three-blend, single-size Wynwood Hills series.
The Wynwood Hills Unhinged offers cigar lovers a balanced, yet rich medium-to-full bodied smoke built around binder and filler tobaccos from Honduras which are topped by an appealingly dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper leaf. The 4 ½” x 50 Honduran-made cigar delivers thick notes of chocolate, earth, cedar, coffee and sweet spice.
