Warped Futuro or “Future” is a collaboration between Warped founder Kyle Gellis and Max Fernández Pujals of Casa Fernandez, which showcases the legendary Aganorsa leaf, including a Nicaraguan Corojo 99 wrapper, a Nicaraguan Criollo 98 binder and selection of Nicaraguan Corojo 98 and Corojo 99 filler tobaccos. The Nicaraguan Puros are crafted at Casa Fernandez’s Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.
Each Warped Futuro delivers a creamy medium-bodied smoke touched with hints of earth, wood, pepper, cocoa and sweet spice. This limited production offering got rolling with two sizes, each chosen by the collaborators. Gellis selected the 5 5/8” x 46 Seleccion Suprema and Max Fernández Pujals chose the Seleccion 109, a 6” x 52 Toro.
