Kyle Gellis of Warped Cigars created the Warped Don Reynaldo as a tribute to his father, who was, as Gellis proclaims, “the man responsible for igniting my interest in cigars.” Don Reynaldo cigars are made at the El Titan de Bronze cigar factory in Miami’s Little Havana using Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, a Nicaraguan binder and a Dominican Corojo wrapper leaf. Utilizing traditional Cuban cigar-making techniques, the master rollers create these special edition cigars at a rate of only 100 cigars per day to guarantee quality from start to finish. The medium-bodied experience will excite aficionados with wood, pepper and spice notes, along with dashes of citrus. Rare and perhaps difficult to track down, but worthy of the effort to locate.
