Jaime Garcia created My Father Cigars in tribute to his legendary cigar-making father, Jose “Pepin” Garcia, who in turn paid homage to his father with the release of what has become a connoisseur’s favorite: My Father Le Bijou 1922. Le Bijou means “The Jewel” and 1922 is the year of birth of Jose Pepin’s father.
Each Le Bijou 1922 is crafted around hearty Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos which are paired with a unique Habano O. O. or “Oscuro Oscuro” wrapper. Copious pepper, leather, earth, wood, cocoa, toast, coffee and spice flavors emerge from the full-bodied smoke with hints of sweetness teasing along the way.
The 6 1/8” x 52 Torpedo is a box-pressed treasure has added multiple “cigar of the Year” awards to its resume, as well as a 97 rating.
