When Christian Eiroa took the helm of Camacho cigars in the 1990s, he came out guns blazing and sparked a movement towards bolder, more intensely flavorful smokes for which he has become so well known. And to celebrate his Twenty year legacy, Eiroa released one of his finest creations: Eiroa The First 20 Years.
Based in part on a recipe developed by Christian’s father, Julio Eiroa, The First 20 Years features the Eiroa family’s Honduran-grown La Victoria binder and filler tobaccos which are dressed in an enticing Mexican San Andres-seed wrapper grown in Honduras. The box-pressed treasures beautifully meld together Christian’s affinity for powerful smokes with his father’s tendency towards balanced, more nuanced cigars to deliver a full-flavored, yet uncompromisingly smooth experience filled with espresso, nut, earth, leather, dark cocoa, spice and cream. These complex smokes should be on every aficionado’s radar.
