Mike Conder and Jon Huber left CAO to start up their own cigar company, Crowned Heads, to pursue their dream of creating boutique cigar magic. And with a string of successes already behind them, the duo keeps the magic alive with the La Imperiosa series. La Imperiosa or “The Imperative” resurrects an old Cuban brand from the early Twentieth Century and delivers a nostalgic, yet memorable experience for modern tastes. Hearty Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos are topped by a dark Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper leaf to offer up a flavorful, yet balanced medium-to-full bodied smoke loaded with thick notes of earth, mesquite, nuts, pepper, spice and fruit. Currently available in five Cuban-inspired sizes: 4 3/8” x 42 Minutos, 5 ¾” x 46 Corona Gorda, 4 ½” x 52 Magicos, 6 3/8” x 50 Double Robusto and 5 ½” x 54 Dukes.
