A labor of love for General Cigar’s legendary cigar master Angel Daniel Nunez, the Cohiba Puro Dominicana is perhaps one of the most intriguing creations in the entire Cohiba catalog. With its impressively smooth and constantly evolving character, the Cohiba Puro Dominicana delivers a full-bodied smoke bursting with a broad mixture of flavors led by earth, oak, pepper and sweet spice. Proprietary Dominican tobaccos are aged in palm bark tercios and placed in charred wood barrels for greater complexity, while Dominican Piloto binder and wrapper leaves from the Cibao Valley complete the package. A must for those in search of a top-shelf Puro, Dominican or otherwise, and a fine pairing partner with aged rum. A Robb Report “Best of the Best” selection.
