Stogies World Class Cigars Stogies has among the best selection of cigars, and certainly the best selection of boutique cigars, in Houston and at great prices. They also carry hard-to-find cigars. Make yourself at home in the comfortable public lounge that features full sports programming on three plasma TVs. Need to take care of a little business? No problem. They have wireless internet and even offer fax service. The terrific staff are helpful and knowledgeable. They host frequent events so be sure to check out the “Events” link on their page for special events. If you are looking for a full-service bar or fine dining and a patio outdoors, they are located right next door to The Palm Restaurant, world renowned for its service and impeccable menu items. Best if: You’re looking for an excellent selection of boutique cigars. Ask for: Jorge, the manager. He’ll help you out with anything you need. 2. Serious Cigars The name says it all. Their selection of cigars is enormous; no other shop can compare. They have the largest humidor in Houston and some say it is the largest in the entire state of Texas. There is something for everyone here. Serious Cigars has 4 locations, including Champions, Galleria, JFK and Webster. All are great but the Champions Location is the most popular. The lounge is spacious with leather chairs, huge flat screen TV and a Golden Tee Golf game. They also offer complimentary secure WiFi. Best if: You’re looking for the biggest selection of cigars. Ask for: Jason if you visit the JFK location. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. 3. Davidoff of Geneva This 2,000 square foot lounge features an expansive walk-in humidor and a wide selection of premium cigars with Davidoff as the centerpiece. Open since April 2016, Davidoff of Geneva is located in the River Oaks District, alongside luxury retail stores and premium restaurants. An ultra luxury cigar deserves a high end lounge to enjoy it in and Davidoff of Geneva does not disappoint with high end wood panel walls and custom art. In addition to all Davidoff lines, they also carry Padron, My Father, Montecristo, Fuente, Tatuaje and a few other high-end cigar brands. Other cigar lounges may have a larger selection, but if you want luxury, Davidoff is exceptional. Customer service is also great. Best if: You’re looking for a luxury cigar lounge. Ask for: Justin. He’s a great guy and definitely knows his stuff. 4. Heights Cigar Lounge The selection is nice, prices are reasonable and they even offer hand-rolled cigars. The lounge is roomy and comfortable with leather recliners and sofas, a fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD player with surround sound, a large game table for card games or dominoes, and wireless internet access. The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and treat everyone as regulars. Heights Cigar Lounge has perfected true customer service. They host multiple events each month including tasting classes, educational classes, cigar events, and the occasional dominoes tournament. Also, there’s a nice coffee shop right next door if you prefer coffee with your cigar. Best if: You want exceptional customer service. Ask for: Doug. He’ll make you feel welcome as if you’re family. 5. Cigar Towne Cigar Towne has a large humidor with a great selection of cigars including Perdomo, AJ Fernandez, La Aroma De Cuba, My Father, Rocky Patel, and many others. The lounge is very comfortable with leather chairs, two huge flat screen TVs and free wireless internet. Lots of regulars come here and everyone is very friendly. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home and the patrons treat you like family. Best if: You’re interested in mingling with other brothers / sisters of the leaf. Ask for: Cheryl or Danielle. They are both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Great Spots in the Surrounding Area While these locations aren’t technically in Houston, they are in the area and are too good to be excluded from the list. International House of Stogies This is one of the most laid back cigar lounges around. The selection is always on point and the attentive staff make it their business to have what you want and need. They have a great selection of boutique cigars as well as the more popular sticks such as the Oliva Serie V Melanio. The Man Cave Cigar Lounge You may not be familiar with this name but you likely know this as the place that put the Colin Kaepernick jersey on the ground. If you look this place up online, it may appear as though this cigar lounge has mixed reviews. But further reading will show that most of the negative reviews don’t have anything to do with the cigar lounge itself; rather they are from people who are mad about the Kaepernick jersey thing. The ratings about the actual cigar lounge features are excellent. This is a great place to enjoy a premium/boutique cigar and a drink of your choice (it is BYOB). If you’re looking for a comfortable man-cave like atmosphere, good company, and great smokes, this is the place for you.
