Catering to elite Saudi Arabian clients who desired to have a cigar which would pair with their ginger tea and rival Cuban cigars in body and taste, Jeremy Casdagli worked with Henrik Kelner Jr. to create what would become the Bespoke Basilica series. The 6” x 52 Bespoke Basilica C#1 delivers on all accounts, with a Cuban-esque experience that will complement a whole spectrum of tasty beverages. The Basilica C#1 features a blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Peruvian filler tobaccos, a double binder of Dominican and Nicaraguan leaves and a Brazilian wrapper. The cigar also features an unfinished foot which represents the firing of “Basilica,” a cannon used by the Ottomans to lay siege to Constantinople in the 15th Century. Full-flavored, yet balanced and smooth, with hints of sweet spice, nut, earth and citrus. Also available in a limited-edition Ecuadorian Maduro wrapped version. Due to a trademark agreement, Bespoke cigars will now be marketed under the Casdagli name in the United States.
